Hello and welcome to this blogg where to main focus is to help you understand how the digital switchover will affect you in Kent.
I shall be covering all aspects from why we need to change to getting setup with a new TV aerial ,equipment and what to look for when choosing an aerial installer .
Before we begin a little about myself . I have been in the industry for over twenty years and have worked in terrestrial ,cable and satellite tv.
Talking to customers daily i have noticed the confusion the switchover has brought about and would like to answer some of the most asked questions.
If you are receiving digital already from Sky then you have no more to do .
If you are receiving you signal via your aerial and don't have any breakup in picture or any missing channels then once again don't worry.
Generally speaking if your aerial is less than six years old with no damage to it or the cabling and is receiving the correct signal power then you are good to go.
If however you have installed your equipment and picture breakup is visible but you feel when the switchover comes everything will be as if by magic OK then you may be disappointed .Author Aerialguy www.aerialguy.com
