Freesat and freesatHd+

Freesat (Free digital Tv via a satelitte dish)

Freesat requires a satelitte dish installed and pointing to Eurobird bouquet at 28.2 to the east from south .

If you already have a sky dish installed you will be able to use it to receive Freesat programs, D.i.y dish installations are not recommended as a meter will be needed to get the correct alignment .
A word of warning about cheap alignment meters bought online for around twenty pounds as they may find signals from satellites but will not tell you which one therefore you will not know if you are on eurobird or one of the other hundreds out there.

Adding extra boxes to your existing dish

Depending on how many unused connectors you have on the L.N.B of your dish you can run and connect the dish to multiple rooms . Freesat receivers with digital recording built in will require two cables from the dish .
